Clinical or Field Placement
An essential component of many College programs is experiential learning through clinical or field practice relevant to the program. In order to ensure high standards and quality educational offerings which will permit students maximum opportunities to achieve learning objectives, and because of necessary funding arrangements, Fanshawe College reserves the right to place students in whatever agency or combination of agencies it determines to be appropriate. While every effort is made to maximize use of local agencies, there is sometimes a need to place students outside of London for some programs or portions of programs.

Accordingly, for these programs, an offer of admission is subject to the condition that the student must be prepared for the possibility of having to relocate, at her or his own expense, for all or a portion of this experience. There is a registration form that must be signed, dated and returned to us, by the applicant prior to the start of the program. Please visit Fanshawe's Registration Conditions web page at http://www.fanshawec.ca/registration for detailed information and forms for individual programs.

Any applicant who has a question concerning this policy is advised to contact the Chairperson of the school responsible for the program at the time of application.
