Downtown revitalization is a documented and emerging trend involving thousands of business associations, local governments, planners, community volunteers, and voluntary agencies across the country. Increasing numbers of community-minded Canadians are taking an interest in downtown revitalization, heritage preservation, architectural history, economic development and other efforts geared toward the creation of successful, memorable and thriving downtown's.
