Classes may begin as early as 8:00 a.m. and finish as late as 6:00 p.m. Each day is likely to be different. The room number for each class tells you which building, which floor and which room the class is being held in. For example, J 2007 refers to room 7 of the second floor of J building.
Numbers are posted on the doors and maps are to be found throughout the college. Give yourself a little time before classes begin to become familiar with the physical lay-out of Fanshawe College.
This will vary with each course. The course outline will describe what you need to do to complete the course. Be sure to keep a copy of this for future reference. In most cases there will be a variety of evaluation items used to accommodate the multitude of learning styles. We suggest you ask the instructor to describe the type of tests to be given before you actually write. We also recommend you refer to the grade score sheet to keep an accurate record of all of your course grades.
In order to get a credit for a course you have to obtain at least a C grade (60 - 69%) in all courses including service courses (e.g. Communications, Marketing, Computers, Psychology etc.).

Brock and Athabasca are two universities that have been very receptive to transfers and are willing to provide recognition for learning completed at a college level. The types of jobs available to students graduating from the FHP Program are varied. Refer to the Successful Grad Profile and the job opportunities section of this web site.

You also receive additional consideration when applying to the career programs in the Health Sciences Division.
