Graduate & Earn More!

Higher education costs but the payback is huge

The average annual income of a student with a one-year college certificate is 25 percent more than someone with a high school diploma. With a two-year college diploma, the gain is 33 percent. Over a 37-year career, a student will earn $173,825 more than a high school graduate.

That's a lot of money when you compare it to the costs.

To attend college, it will cost $5,000-plus if you live at home and $10,000-plus if you live away from home for one year. But help is available.

Fanshawe College houses two departments dedicated to helping you achieve your academic goals:

The Financial Aid Office (Room E2020) administers several financial assistance programs such as bursaries, work study programs and the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP).

Awards & Scholarships (Room K1003) also administers awards, scholarships and bursaries generously funded by individuals, organizations, corporations, staff and alumni.
