Fanshawe College Student Assistance Bursary
Fanshawe College Student Assistance Bursaries have been established by the College in accordance with Ministry guidelines related to tuition fees. These bursaries are available to students who have a demonstrated financial need while in school. Both educational and personal expenses related to program study will be considered. Students attending on a full-time basis within a post-secondary or post-diploma program at Fanshawe College are eligible to apply.

Online application forms must be submitted with supporting documentation no later than 4 weeks prior to the study period end date.

Important Notes:
  • Incomplete bursary applications will be denied. Application deadline dates are strictly enforced as are maximum levels of financial assistance. Interviews may be required as part of the decision process.
  • Funds from the bursary programs are to be used for the student's own personal or educational needs. Responsible management of financial resources and borrowing ability through other sources are part of the decision process. Processing times may vary in accordance with the time of year and volume of requests.
  • Limited amounts of bursary funds may be available for some programs.
The Financial Aid Office continues to offer these bursaries:

Community Service Bursary
The Community Service Bursary is a financial need based bursary for returning, full time post-secondary students. Students perform community service during their summer work terms to earn credit towards tuition fees for their next semester of studies. Students must volunteer with registered, non-profit charitable organizations in London, Elgin, Oxford, Middlesex, or Haldimand-Norfolk communities to the satisfaction of the College. Participation in this initiative does not exempt the student from working or seeking full-time employment during their work terms.
