Intramural Teams:
The First Nations Centre participates in the intramural sports league with teams in five sports:
Peer Helper Program:
The Peer Helper Program is designed for first-year students as a way to make the adjustment to College life a little easier. We will match a first-year student with a helper/returning student who is in the same or related program or area of study. These students will meet on a regular basis, which will include social activities during the course of the semester.
Peer Tutoring:
The peer-tutoring program is available at no cost to all First Nations students. Any interested students must come to the Centre and complete the necessary forms. If you are interested in being a tutor, we can assist in this process as well.
First Nations Student Association (FNSA):
The FNSA is an active group within the First Nations Centre. This group of students provides input, involvement and direction for the services and activities of the Centre. The FNSA meets once a week to discuss agenda items, issues, and happenings of the First Nations Centre.
