Ontario Student Loan (OSL) Default Rates - 2009

All Ontario post-secondary institutions are required to provide students with information on Ontario Student Loan default rates for post-secondary programs funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

The overall 2009 default rate for Ontario colleges is 11.0%, up from 10.6% in 2008. In comparison, Fanshawe's overall 2009 default rate is 10.5%, up from 9.1% in 2008.

Below are the 2009 Fanshawe College default rates by program, for students who received loans in 2006/2007 and completed or left their studies by 2007/2008. Default information has not been shown for programs where the number of loans issued to students was less than five. In some instances, the program listed is no longer offered by the College.
