Ontario Student Loan (OSL) Default Rates - 2008

All Ontario post-secondary institutions are required to provide students with information on Ontario Student Loan default rates for post-secondary programs funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

The overall 2008 default rate for Ontario colleges is 10.6%, down from 11.0% in 2007. In comparison, Fanshawe's overall 2008 default rate is 9.1%, down from 10.0% in 2007.

Below are the 2008 Fanshawe College default rates by program, for students who received loans in 2005/2006 and completed or left their studies by 2006/2007. Default information has not been shown for programs where the number of loans issued to students was less than five. In some instances, the program listed is no longer offered by the College.
