Residence Wait List Update - May 19

We have encountered a small number of people who changed information within a few days, who do not appear correctly on the wait list. To ensure there are no further issues we have taken the wait list down and are currently reviewing each application to ensure the original application date was used for wait list positions. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, we assure you the original applications dates, regardless of the changes made later in the process, will be used.
 
We will also be accepting people from the wait list to fill current vacancies for people who have not accepted their offers.

Residence Update - May 14, 2010

Wondering if you got into residence?
If you applied to residence and haven't received an email telling you whether you've been accepted or are on the wait list, please call the Residence Office at 519-452-4440 or email fanshaweresidence@fanshawec.ca.


Are you on the wait list for residence?
Right now, we can tell you whether or not you are on the wait list. However, we cannot tell you where you sit on the wait list until after Monday, May 17. On Friday, May 14 you will receive an email that includes instructions on how to check your wait list status (and position on the wait list) online via WebAdvisor.


Got into residence but haven't accepted or rejected your spot yet?
If so, you have until Friday, May 14th at 11pm to make your decision. Please log into your eRezLife account to accept or decline the offer and follow the instructions to send in your deposit. If you do not accept/decline your offer and the deadline passes, your name will be moved to the bottom of the wait list and your spot will be given to someone else.

Long story short?

• Check your email!!
• If you don't know where you stand, contact the Residence!!
• Accept or decline your residence spot by May 14th or it'll be given to someone else!!

Haven't applied to residence yet?

Keep applying! Unlike other colleges and universities, Fanshawe does not charge an application fee to apply to residence. Although we may be working through our wait list, some people do decide to cancel their spot and you might still have a chance on getting in.

What about off-campus housing?

If residence isn't the right option for you but you still want to live close to the London campus, we have lots of resources available:

• contact us - we're always happy to help!

In fact, most of Fanshawe's students live off-campus and add a diverse mix to the London community. London is a vibrant city with a wide selection of accommodations. All housing searches are somewhat challenging, however. Fanshawe's Counselling and Student Life Services provides an Off-Campus Housing Service to maintain a listing of housing for Fanshawe students in the City of London.
