Howard Rundle

photo of Howard RundleHoward Rundle was appointed Fanshawe College’s fourth President in 1995.

Prior to accepting the appointment as President, Dr. Rundle has held various positions at Fanshawe College joining the college in 1972 as its Director of Planning and Development. Since then he has served as Director of Student Learning Resources, Dean of the School of Health Sciences and Human Services and, most recently, for eight years as Fanshawe’s Vice President Academic.

Howard received his undergraduate and graduate training at the University of Toronto obtaining an M.A., and Ph.D., in Physical Chemistry. Upon graduation, he worked at the University of Pittsburgh and then at York University in Toronto as a research scientist.

Currently, Howard is the Chair of the Ontario College Application Service Management Board, and member of the Ontario Colleges Library Board. Howard is a member of the Committee of Presidents of Colleges Ontario and has served as Chair for three years. He also serves on a number of provincial committees and task forces as part of his role with Colleges Ontario. Locally, Howard is on the Board of the London Economic Development Corporation, and volunteers for the United Way of London and Middlesex.
