How to Register for Continuing Ed Courses

Registering for your chosen course(s) or program is easy! You may choose one of three registration methods:

Please note: Once the initial course start date passes, online registration through WebAdvisor is no longer available. Only faxed or in-person registrations will be processed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Call (519) 452-4285 and get your Alumni PERKS Card today!

AUDIT STATUS

Students who register in a graded course but do not wish to complete assignments, write tests or exams or receive a grade, must declare their audit status to their instructor on the first class night and complete the appropriate form.

CANCELLED/POSTPONED COURSES

Any course is subject to cancellation at the discretion of the College due to low enrollments.   A full refund of fees will be made automatically by the College. The College reserves the right to reschedule classes when deemed necessary.   While the College makes every effort to permit students to complete a certificate program, the College will provide the courses in Elgin County only if there is sufficient enrollment. Travel to other campuses may be necessary in some cases in order to complete programs.

COURSE FEE/INCOME TAX

Payment for course fees can be made by cheque, money order, VISA, Mastercard or Interact.   Postdated cheques are not accepted. Tuition fees may be tax deductible and students are advised to retain their receipt.   The College will issue a T2202A form for eligible course fees in February online.   Course fees may include a College service fee which is not tax deductible.

COURSE PREREQUISITES

Prerequisites are listed with each course description and you must complete these requirements prior to registration. Course credit may be granted based on education and/or training. Contact the   programming area for information.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR PART-TIME STUDENTS

If registered in a Ministry approved credit course, diploma or certificate program, financial assistance may be available to those who qualify. For more information, contact the Financial Aid Office, Room E2020 at (519) 452-4280 concerning Canada Student Loan, Ontario Special Bursary and Fanshawe College Student Assistance Bursary.

If you are registered in a credit course not eligible for any other financial assistance funding, you may be eligible for a CE Bursary (limited funds available).   Inquire on-line, our office or at Awards and Scholarships Office, E2020, London Campus (519-452-4466).

GRADE POINT AVERAGE

If you took the first course in a program in Fall 2003 (and forward) you need to achieve a 2.0 GPA to graduate.   If courses started before that date, the GPA is not required but you need to complete the courses in the program within 7 years.

GRADUATION
