Post-Secondary Wide Awards

Unless otherwise indicated, the application period for the following post secondary-wide awards is now closed for the 2011-12 academic year.

Students may apply for up to three of the awards, but only one award will be given.

Post Secondary-Wide Awards include:

Graduating Students Only

  • President's Prize
    • Meaningful contribution to Fanshawe College campus life. Minimum 3.5 GPA.
  • R.C. Hamilton Award
    • Significant contribution to student life and/or community through leadership activities.
  • Harry Rawson Award
    • Extraordinary communication skills. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Mary Ann Darling Memorial Alumni Award
    • Community volunteer work. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Fanshawe College Distinguished Student Award
    • Contribution to college or community. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Jessica Jean Campbell Coulson Memorial Scholarship
    • Students with recognized learning disability. Minimum 3.0 GPA in program's final year courses.

In-Progress and Graduating Students

  • FSU Leadership Award
    • Leadership during attendance at Fanshawe. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Student Administrative Council Recognition Award
    • Involvement in FSU and/or student life activities. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Jim Matchett Memorial Scholarship
    • Contribution to athletics. Minimum 3.5 GPA.

In-Progress Students Only

Continuing Education Studies Students Only

  • W.J. Pillsworth Award
    • Motivation and interest in achievement of career goals. Minimum 3.5 GPA.
