While the College makes every effort to allow students to complete an entire program on a part-time basis, this may not be possible due to insufficient student registration.
From initial registration, there is a maximum of seven years (full-time or part-time) to complete program curriculum. Additionally, students must meet the academic standards and competencies of the program in order to graduate. Students extending beyond that time frame and/or not meeting the standards/competencies will be assessed to determine if upgrading measures are necessary or available.
Graduation from college programs requires a student to complete the program curriculum, meet its academic standard and achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Some programs may have a higher minimum GPA for progressions purposes. In circumstances where a program has been cancelled, please contact the program area for completion deadlines.Refund Policy
A student may be issued a partial refund if they withdraw from a course no later than the refund deadline. To be eligible for a refund, please print and complete the Student Withdrawal Form (PDF*) and ensure the form is received by the Office of the Registrar by the refund deadline. The refund amount received will be less an administration charge and material fees, plus HST where applicable.
The completed Student Withdrawal Form (PDF*) can be sent to us by fax to 519-453-5021, emailed as a scanned image to email@example.com or delivered in person to Fanshawe College, Office of the Registrar, Room E1012.

Note: Administration fee is $23 for non-graded courses, $32 for graded courses.
