Introduction to Motorcycling

Then get a head start in this preparatory course where you will be introduced to braking, balance and clutch control. Occupational Health and Safety
Occupational Health & Safety Certificate- Supervisor
Course Code: SFTY-9033
This course prepares boom or scissor lift aerial platform operators for certification. Topics include daily inspections, vehicle stability, fuel sources, securing loads, travelling safely on the platform, and proper positioning at the job site. Participants will understand the legal responsibilities of the operator. Working unprotected at a height of over 3 meters requires fall protection. Topics include hazard recognition, assessment and control; fit and function of the harness; components of fall arrest and protection; proper inspection of PPE; and legal responsibilities of the user. After successful completion of testing requirements, participants will receive a 3 year wallet card Competency Certification for both courses. Practical Evaluation- set up with instructor, fee not included. (For Fall Protection Safety only, please register for SFTY-9028. See Fall Protection Safety Description for more information.)
