Influenza A(H1N1) Information

Middlesex-London Health Unit Flu Vaccination Info

The Pandemic H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccines are also available at the Health Unit's walk-in Immunization Clinics at 50 King Street in London and at the Kenwick Mall in Strathroy. Immunization Clinic hours are as follows:

  • Health Unit Office Clinics:
    The Health Unit's walk-in Immunization Clinics at 50 King Street in London and at the Kenwick Mall in Strathroy offer Pandemic H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccines along with other vaccinations. Immunization Clinic hours are as follows:

    London (50 King Street):
    Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

    Strathroy (Kenwick Mall):
    The first Tuesday of each month from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  • Community Health Care Providers:
    Pandemic H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccines may also be available from some community health care providers. Some workplaces may also be offering influenza vaccinations.


Note from Middlesex London Health Unit re: H1N1 Clinics
"Driver's licences and health cards are not required to get the H1N1 vaccination. We have been asking for them only to assist with processing people who come to get their shots. Someone who does not have either card will still be able to get their vaccination."

Fanshawe College is monitoring the Influenza A(H1N1) situation carefully and is in close communication with the Middlesex-London Health Unit. Information is being provided to the College community to reduce the risk of contracting the flu. Preventative measures include frequent hand washing, using hand sanitizers with at least 60 percent alcohol, washing surfaces, and covering coughs and sneezes. Updates will be provided as appropriate.
