Basketball Alumni Fêted

From March 4 to 6, 2010, Fanshawe College hosted the OCAA Men's Basketball Championships for the first time in the College's history. Coinciding with the event, the Alumni Association held a reception for Alumni Basketball players on March 4th at The Outback Shack. The reception was attended by 43 alumni and more than 60 staff and personnel from the championship were able to mix and mingle through the event. We were fortunate enough to have alumni representatives from every decade dating back to the inception of the college in 1967.

The attendees reminisced over drinks and appetizers, and told stories about their glory days. They were then treated to this year's Falcons quarter-final victory. The Alumni Association wishes the Falcons all the best as they try to bring home national gold at this week's CCAA championships in Calgary, Alberta.
