College Policy Manual Changes

1-B-46 Respectful College Community
Amended (June 8, 2011, SLC-10-20)
This policy must be reviewed annually per legislation. The policy was reformatted to current College standards. The only substantive change is the addition of a clause in section 3.4.4 authorizing the Director, Human Resources to develop and issue procedures without reference to SLC.

1-F-01 Use and Sale of Tobacco Products
(**formerly called Use and Sale of Tobacco Products on College Property)
Amended (June 8, 2011, SLC-10-20)
**Effective: September 1, 2011**
Procedures within the policy were moved to a separate document, Procedure A 'Smoking Regulations' (as per changes to policy 1-I-16, see below). Fines and an appeal process were added to the policy.

1-G-23 Terms of Reference of the Committee on Student Disability Issues
Rescinded (June 22, 2011, SLC-10-21)
The Committee on Student Disability Issues was disbanded in April 2011, this policy is therefore no longer required.

2-I-01 London Campus Library Policy, Part I - Print Materials
Amended (June 8, 2011, SLC-10-20)
This policy was due for its five year review. No substantive changes were made. Following approval of amendments to policy 1-I-16 (see below), procedure within the policy was removed and incorporated in two separate documents (Procedure A: Fines and Lost or Damaged Material and Procedure B: Recalls and Holds on Material) and referenced in item #3.6. In addition, item #3.2.3 was added.

2-I-02 London Campus Library Policy, Part II - Interlibrary Loan Policy: Printed Material
Amended (June 8, 2011, SLC-10-20)
This policy was due for its five year review. No substantive changes were made. Following approval of amendments to policy 1-I-16 (see below), procedure within the policy was removed and incorporated in a separate document (Procedure A: Interlibrary Loan Service) and referenced in item #3.9.
