United Way Campaign Update

On October 21, 2008, Fanshawe College staff and students joined together to kick off the 2008 United Way Campaign with a chili lunch competition! Everyone had a great time, however, the real winners will be the people of London and Middlesex who desperately need our help in these difficult economic times. We are thrilled to announce that more than $1800 was raised! Congratulations to Brian Harness, FSU Food Service Director for his winning contribution "Turbo's Texas Style Fire in the Hole Chili". We would like to thank our Hospitality students for their submission "TNT Chili" and Chartwell's Food Services for their entry of "Fanshawe's Best Bowl".

Bob Clarke from Campus Security Services won the 50/50 draw on October 24, taking home $319 - make sure you get your tickets for the next draw! A special thank you to Berniece Caughlin for organizing the draw.
