Fall Convocation Honours New Graduates

Fanshawe College will celebrate fall convocation with three ceremonies at its London campus on Thursday, November 3 (2 pm) and Friday, November 4 (10 am and 2 pm), 2011.

All ceremonies will take place in J Gymnasium at the London Campus.

Highlights of the ceremonies include:

Thursday, November 3 at 2 pm – Faculty of Arts, Media and Design:

• Guest speaker: Mr. Robert Hurst (former President of CTV News and Current Affairs)
• Fanshawe president Dr. Howard Rundle will bestow the designation of Professor Emeritus to Dr. Roger Fisher, Fanshawe College, Centre for Applied Research and Innovation

Friday, November 4 at 10 am – Faculty of Business and Faculty of Health Sciences and Human Services

• Guest speaker: Ms. Shanthi Radcliffe – founder of the London InterCommunity Health Centre
• Presentation of the Governor General’s Academic Award; Dean’s Academic Award, Faculty of Business and Dean’s Academic Award, Faculty of Health Sciences and Human Services

Friday, November 4 at 2 pm – Centre for Community Education and Training Services and Faculty of Technology

• Guest speaker: Ms. Ruth Gates-Jensen (former Vice-President of Business Development at Fanshawe)
• Fanshawe president Dr. Howard Rundle will present Ms. Gates-Jensen with an Honorary Diploma from Fanshawe College
• Presentation of the Dean’s Academic Award, Continuing Education and Dean’s Academic Award, Faculty of Technology
