Fanshawe's Music Industry Arts (MIA) students, with the assistance of professors Terry McManus, Steve Malison and Mike Roth, presented a special evening celebrating the legacy of the late Jack Richardson, Canadian music icon and Fanshawe College professor.

Share the Man: The Music of Jack Richardson took place on February 8, 2012, at The Aeolian Hall in London. MIA students and special guests played songs produced by Jack. All proceeds went to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Jack, well-known for his work with The Guess Who and other musicians, was also a major factor in the development and success of the College’s Music Industry Arts program.

"For all of his great accomplishments, Jack was a very modest man, but I am sure he would have been honoured that the students of Fanshawe College have chosen to pay tribute to him in this unique way,” said Music Industry Arts professor Terry McManus. “Music was not just close to his heart, it was his life and so this evening of special songs that Jack produced will capture his spirit in a way that will make it feel as if he were still with us. We could only wish."
