Fanshawe Foundation Honours Donors
On January 16, 2009, the College celebrated the opening of the new facilities in the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The School was renamed recently to honour Larry Kinlin for his $1 million gift to Fanshawe College. At the event, Catherine Finlayson, Executive Director of the Fanshawe College Foundation, expressed thanks to Larry and congratulated the School of Business on the opening of its new offices.

Sponsors of Fanshawe's 6th Annual Golf Classic were recognized at an appreciation breakfast at Saffron's on January 29, 2009. The tournament, held in August of last year, raised more than $87,000 to support bursaries at the College.
A reception was held in the Colvin Atrium on January 29, 2009, to thank Abrigo Industrial Machines for its generous contribution of a $75,000 robot to the School of Manufacturing Sciences. This donation is a major contribution to the School's lab resources and will enable it to expand project-based learning in the senior semesters of its controls, robotics and project courses.
