Finnish Professor Visits Kinlin School of Business

Professor Marjo Ruuti from the Business School at Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Finland will lecture at Fanshawe's Lawrence Kinlin School of Business from November 5 to 12, 2011.

The visit is part of an exchange program between Fanshawe and Laurea University and follows on a visit last spring by Paivi Helanto. In addition to the faculty exchanges, two Laurea University students are currently studying at Fanshawe.

Ruuti's area of focus is change management in business. She was part of the Nokia Siemens Networks and Siemens integration in Finland.

During her week at Fanshawe, Professor Ruuti will lecture in several programs including International Business, Human Resources Management, Purchasing, Business Administration and Leadership, Marketing and Accounting. She will also meet with faculty and lead faculty sharing sessions.
