International Student Performs at Aeolian Hall
Born in 1990 at Komsomolsk-na-Amure, Russia, Yulia studied at a music school in Russia from 1994 to 2006, and started to perform in public at the age of six. She gave three performances with the Far-Eastern Symphony Orchestra in 1997, 2004, and 2007, playing Concerto No. 13 by Mozart, Concerto No. 2 by Saint-Saens, and Concerto No. 1 by Rachmaninoff.

In 2004 Yulia won the first prize in the Third International Competition of Young Pianists. In 2005 she won two second prizes at the First International Competition of Young Music Performers in Saint Petersburg, Russia, performing as a pianist-soloist, and a member of a piano ensemble. In 2006 the Academic Junior Music College in association with Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire awarded Yulia with a scholarship.
Yulia came to Canada in 2007, and now she is involved in working as an accompanist for singer and actress Lesley Andrew. Yulia is studying Multi Media Design and Production at Fanshawe College.
On December 14, 2008, Yulia gave an outstanding performance at London's Aeolian Hall. Congratulations Yulia!
