New Senior Associate Registrar, Admission Services

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Walker, to our new role of Senior Associate Registrar, Admissions Services.

Scott Walker joins Fanshawe with 16 years of experience in both the education and private sectors. Prior to accepting this position, Scott served as the Director, MBA Recruiting & Admissions at the Richard Ivey School of Business where he was instrumental in the successful development of international and domestic student recruiting strategies. He has firsthand experience working with student applications from every major country and has travelled extensively to participate in front line recruiting. He has also held the position of Director, MBA Program Services and Manager, MBA Marketing & Admissions at Ivey.

Scott also led the development and implementation of several admissions process upgrades at Ivey and played a key leadership role in the design and execution of a fully integrated applicant tracking and contact management system.

In addition to his six years at the Richard Ivey School of Business, Scott has over 10 years of marketing and sales experience with international luxury brand Montblanc and Federated Insurance of Canada.

Scott brings strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on student acquisition, retention and overall satisfaction to this position. He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the DeGroote School of Business.

Scott will join the College on November 15, 2010.
