Oxford Campus Staff and Students Fulfill Christmas Wishes
Have you ever wondered what happens to the names left over on the Angel Tree at Christmas? Well, that never happens in Woodstock! For the third year in a row, students at Fanshawe's Oxford Campus collected ALL of the unclaimed names from the Angel Tree and filled the wish lists of the children. More than $3,000 in gifts, ranging from snowboards to skateboards to Wii games, movie passes, and books were purchased. As well, every child will receive a new pair of pajamas on Christmas morning.

The giving didn't stop there though. Fundraising and donations brought in $200 for the Operation Sharing soup kitchen to make hot meals for the homeless and a contest was held to see which program at the Campus could bring in the most food for the Salvation Army Food Drive. The students in the Upgrading program won the competition and collectively more than $500 in food was donated.
The staff and students at the Woodstock Campus would like to thank all who donated gifts, food, money and time and would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday season.
