Pandemic Flu Information Sessions

It is very important for you to know that for the past several months, Fanshawe College has been working diligently to create a Flu Pandemic Plan that will ensure the College is adequately prepared to address the threat of a pandemic influenza outbreak.

woman1r.jpg The College is holding two information sessions at the London Campus for those who are interested in learning more about the College's efforts outlined in its pandemic influenza plan.  The sessions are open to all employees, will last approximately one hour and will be delivered by Pat Kirkby, Fanshawe Pandemic Plan Consultant and former Dean of Health Sciences.

The sessions will be offered on the following dates:

Thursday, May 22, 2008                         12:00pm-1:00pm            T1003  
Or Monday, June 2, 2008                        1:00pm-2:00pm             T1003

The presentation will cover the following objectives:
  • Introduction to pandemic influenza;
  • Planning process at the College;
  • Impact on College operations; and
  • Annual flu prevention at the College.
To attend a session, speak with your Supervisor/Manager as appropriate.
