Paralympic Torch Bearer Contest

In March 2010, Canada will host one of the most inspirational events ever held in our country - the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.

The 2010 Paralympic Torch Relay will visit eleven communities in ten days, giving Canadians young and old a chance to celebrate the unique and inspiring stories of Paralympians and other Canadians - those who defy the odds and showcase the remarkable potential of the human spirit.

As part of the Paralympic Torch Bearer Contest, ten people (age 13 and up) will be chosen to carry the torch in Toronto - its only Ontario stop - on March 5, 2010.

The contest closes on January 6, 2010.
