Unbound 2010

May 6, 2010

On Friday, April 16, 2010 at Museum London, the graduating class of the Fashion Design program launched their final collections at their annual gala. Unbound 2010 provides an opportunity for these up-and-coming fashion designers to showcase their hard work and creativity to special guests, the media, friends and family.

Each collection was judged by a panel of industry professionals which included renowned Canadian designer David Dixon, Maggie Bill of ET Canada and Erin O'Brien of Flare Magazine.

Collections included swimwear, casual wear, cocktail and formal wear, as well as day wear and outer wear. Emphasis was placed on design analysis, apparel manufacturing and technology as well as design communications and marketing. This experience helps prepare student designers for a future in various sectors of the rapidly changing fashion industry.

In addition to designing and sewing their final collections, the students produced the entire fashion show under the guidance of the dedicated professors in the Fashion Design program.

This show has become an extremely well-known and highly anticipated event!
