Fitness 101 Member Advisory Committee
The Fitness 101 staff prides itself on its continual effort to make your workout experience the best it can be. Without your feedback and suggestions, this wouldn’t be possible. Our Member Based Advisory Committee gives you the opportunity to bring your concerns, suggestions and feedback to the Fitness 101 management team. The committee is composed of student, community, employee and corporate representatives. We invite you to be a part of these quarterly meetings. The next meeting will be in January 2004, date TBA. Keep the feedback coming!!!

New equipment, soon to arrive
Along with our recently renovated Fitness Centre comes the anticipated arrival of our new equipment. Making their way to Fitness 101:

We’re looking forward to improving your experience, so feel free to ask one of our Fitness Consultants to help you get familiar with our new equipment as soon as it arrives!

Outwardly Active
Come on out and have some physical fun with Fitness 101. Every month, Fitness 101 offers an Outwardly Active event for members, friends, and family. It’s a great opportunity to get out and enjoy a variety of physical activities. Some of our past events have included paintball, indoor rock climbing, and beach volleyball just to name a few. Upcoming events will include indoor beach volleyball, snow tubing, and cross country skiing. If you are interested in joining us on any of these Outwardly Active adventures, contact Jordan Geehan at ext. 4802.

Squash League
We have just concluded our fall squash season here at Fitness 101. I’d like to take the time to thank our league members for their participation.

The winter squash league will start up on January 19th, 2004. This five-week session will run through until February 16th, 2004. At the end of the scheduled five-week session we will be holding a squash league tournament. This will give all of you league members the chance to rise to the top and win some great prizes.

The league takes place Monday nights between 5:00pm-9:30pm, with players ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Even if you’re an inexperienced squash enthusiast, there is a place for you in our league. Sign up now and learn new techniques and improve your game. If you have any further questions or would like to register, please contact Jordan Geehan at ext. 4802.
