Remote access to Library's
electronic databases
As you know, remote (off-campus) access to subscription databases requires input
of employee numbers pre-padded with enough zeros to make the total number
of digits nine
(e.g., a person with employee number 12345 would have to input 000012345).
Employees hired before January 2004 should continue to use your former employee number.
The new numbers do not work because they do not have a mathematical check digit built-in.
Employees hired after January 1, 2004 must call the Library's circulation department (452-4236)
to obtain a remote access ID number for login.
