:: Honorary Diplomas and Degrees ::
It is now time for the College to consider names
of possible nominations for Honorary Diplomas and
Degrees. At this stage, we are only seeking to identify
names of people that we can consider approaching. The
actual nomination process will occur later.
The criteria for selecting recipients for the
Honorary Diploma will include the following:
- That the recipient shall have had a unique and
outstanding impact at a local, provincial, national, or
global level. This individual's life, in some way, will
have significantly enriched the lives and careers of
Fanshawe College's students and alumni.
The criteria for selecting recipients for the
Honorary Degree will include the following criteria:
- Has made a significant contribution to society;
- Has achieved noted accomplishments in a particular
field of study for applied education; or
- Has enhanced or promoted our College's image and
reputation in Ontario or elsewhere.
Could you please send your suggested name to the
President's Office by early December with a short
rationale of why you are putting this name forward? If
