New Curriculum Development and Program Renewal
Manager Appointed
Deb Wilkin

Deb Wilkin has been appointed to the new position of manager,
Curriculum Development and Program Renewal, Curriculum Development
Unit (CDU), Centre for Applied Research, Innovation & University
Partnerships (ARIUP).
Effective September 4, 2007, Deb will be responsible for the overall
leadership of the CDU and will report directly to Greg Weiler,
Dean of Applied Research, Innovation & University Partnerships.
The CDU provides support and guidance to the College as a whole
for curriculum development, instructional design, and academic
program renewal and quality assurance.
With Fanshawe's commitment to student success, Deb's new
position will focus on assisting faculty, staff and management
with the development and delivery of quality academic programs and
in the creation of academic pathways for Fanshawe students.
Deb began her Fanshawe College career in 1991 as a faculty
member. Subsequently, she became program coordinator for the
Business Insurance diploma program and a familiar face on College
Council, where she served as vice-chair. Deb joined the CDU as a
curriculum consultant in the fall of 2005.
Her many cross-College activities have given her a broad
understanding of college programming, curriculum development and
quality issues which should serve her well in her new capacity.
