Fanshawe College is proud to announce that professor Kevin Doyle has been
honoured with the 2008 Premier's Award for Creative Arts and Design.
Kevin received the award at a ceremony in Toronto on February 23, 2009.
Kevin was chosen from many strong nominees for the award, which recognizes the success and contributions of exceptional college graduates.
Kevin teaches music production in the School of Contemporary Media. A world class recording engineer, he has worked with some of music's biggest names, including Van Morrison, Céline Dion, KISS, Alannah Myles, Glen Gould, Anne Murray, and Andrea Bocelli. Throughout his illustrious career, he has earned multiple Juno awards, a Gemini, and a Grammy. He has also used his skills and influence to support music projects at home and abroad.
Professors like Kevin enhance Fanshawe's programs and reputation, which
further attracts top quality faculty and staff. We are fortunate to have him
teaching at the College.
Kevin is the third Fanshawe graduate to be honoured with a Premier's Award. In 1993, Maria Mendes won for business, and in 2000, Betty Bedard-Bidwell won for community service.
Congratulations!
