Fanshawe College offers both applied and collaborative degrees.
Applied degrees are undergraduate bachelor degrees with an applied, hands-on focus in a particular field. Typically four years in length, they prepare students to work in a profession or earn a professional designation (or standing) while also earning a degree. Students graduate with a Bachelor of Applied Arts (BAA) degree, for example, rather than a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.
