Get paid to spend someone else's money. Can you handle that?

As a purchasing professional, you'll influence the
spending of hundreds of thousands - even millions of dollars for an organization! Purchasing professionals are always in high demand, and jobs often remain secure, even in tough economic times. If all this excites you, then Fanshawe's Business - Purchasing program is for you!

You'll learn the importance of negotiation skills, people skills, financial, mathematical and computer skills and how they relate to the Purchasing function. You'll also learn the basics of supply management, inventory management and control, the impact of quality on processes and products, and transportation and logistics.

Plus, this program puts you on the fast track to the Certified Professional Purchaser (C.P.P.) designation from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada. When you graduate, you'll have already completed half of the CPP designation requirements!

There's even a co-op option, so you can start to build your professional purchasing skills while you learn!

Start January, March, May and September.
