Construction Engineering Technician - Supervisor

Fanshawe's Construction Engineering Technician - Supervisor program is focused on the construction of residential buildings and is a continuation of the Construction Carpentry Techniques program.

You'll learn construction methods, blueprint reading, how to determine material quantities, cost estimating and how to supervise residential construction projects.

A lot of the learning is hands-on, and includes physical work in construction.

When you graduate, you'll be ready to work as a cost estimator, field supervisor, technical representative or building inspector.

Employers include residential building companies, subdivision developers, building material suppliers or municipal building departments.

Or, you may choose to enter an apprenticeship in carpentry or join working crews in framing, concrete form work, or interior/exterior finishing of houses.
