Dental Assisting (Levels I and II)
Become a Dental Assistant - in less than 10 months!
Fanshawe's Dental Assisting (Levels I and II) program combines classroom studies with plenty of hands-on learning in state-of-the art dental facilities!
Dental Assistants provide clinical care, intra-oral care, radiography, oral health care promotion, laboratory work and administrative duties.
You'll gain amazing experience, working chairside with dental students at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. Plus, you'll complete a two-week work placement at a local dentist office!
When you graduate, you'll be prepared to successfully complete the National Dental Assisting Examination Board (NDAEB) Exam in order to practice as a Level II Dental Assistant.
And you'll be eligible for certification with the Ontario Dental Nurses and Assistants Association (ODAA) and the Canadian Dental Assistants Association CDAA.
This program is well-respected, with 95% of graduates finding work in the field!
