Fine Art
Fanshawe's Fine Art curriculum takes a traditional hands-on approach to the visual arts. Excellent studios provide the perfect environment for creativity. You will explore painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, digital art and printmaking. Students also study the history and philosophy of art along with current trends and ideas.
You will have the opportunity to be part of exhibitions of your own artwork, work with diverse teachers/artists and hear and meet visiting artists from the many disciplines within Fine Art.
Graduates of the Fine Art program establish themselves as practicing artists, designers, teachers, gallery and museum employees or part of a multitude of roles within the art industry.
Fine Art is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma Program. (Fanshawe College also offers a one-year Fine Art Foundation program.)
