Fanshawe's Fashion Merchandising program is where fashion and retail merchandising meet! Courses in this program focus on retail management, brand development, textile technology, photo styling, event/fashion show production, and fashion technology. You'll learn all about visual merchandising, marketing, promotion, fashion buying, and the software that runs the fashion and retail industry. You'll organize, design, promote and market live fashion shows/events throughout the year, and get hands-on experience in the real world, with two paid co-op work terms!

Plus, you'll have plenty of opportunities to meet professionals in the world of fashion and retail, giving you even more exposure that could lead to future employment. And even have the opportunity to travel to Paris and New York to study the world's fashion hubs and latest trends! When you graduate, you can launch your career in retail management, visual merchandising, or marketing of fashion products/services. Or, if you wish to continue your studies, you may transfer to the Bachelor of Professional Arts - Communication Studies degree program or the Bachelor of Management Post-Diploma program at Athabasca University.
