Broadcast Journalism - Television News
Journalists: make the move into television news.
If you're a Broadcast Journalism graduate or professional, this program is designed to help you develop specialized skills for a career in television news.
Fanshawe's Broadcast Journalism - Television News program will help you become a versatile news videographer. You'll develop hands-on skills with broadcast news-gathering equipment, news writing, newscasting, news editing, interviewing, researching, and production. You'll also have extensive access to Fanshawe's Broadcast Centre - Canada's premiere broadcasting educational tool. And you'll make important industry connections via two internship placements - one ongoing throughout the program and another two-month internship in top newsrooms across Canada (during March and April).
When you graduate, you'll be prepared for a career in television news as a television journalist, videographer, producer, editor, director or writer.
The Broadcast Journalism - Television News program is an Ontario College Graduate Certificate program.
