This course is an introduction to the AircraftMaintenance Engineer Category E License. Itoutlines the requirements and processes as well asthe roles and responsibilities of the AME.This course also introduces the students to theWorkplace Hazardous Materials Information Systemas it applies to the field of aircraftmaintenance.

This course is a comprehensive introduction tobasic electrical theory and components used inaviation. Students will gain a familiarity withelectrical equipment construction and operation,and its application in industry.The program contains a good balance of theory andpractical considerations.
