Business Administration - Accounting is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program (laptop required). The program curriculum covers advanced topics in accounting with a focus on management functions and includes courses in auditing, financial management and controllership, cost and managerial accounting, and strategic policy and planning. The program provides a number of credits that can be transferred to a professional accounting designation (e.g., CA, CGA, or CMA) and used toward a university degree. Many employment opportunities are available for graduates in industry, public accounting, and government where they will work in a variety of roles, including accounting, finance, and tax.University Transfer Credits and Degree Completion

Applicant Selection Criteria
Where the number of eligible applicants exceeds the available spaces in the program, the Applicant Selection Criteria will be:- Preference for Permanent Residents of Ontario.
- Receipt of Application by May 1st.
- Achievement in the Admission Requirements.
- Preference will be given to graduates of the Fanshawe College Business - Accounting program.
Note:
- Students applying for the Business Administration - Accounting program with a two-year Business - Accounting Ontario College Diploma from Fanshawe College should have obtained a minimum overall average of 'C+' (2.5 cumulative GPA) and a 'B' in ACCT-3023 or ACCT-3036, ACCT-3024 or ACCT-3037, ACCT-3022, FINA-3007, FINA-3020 and MATH-1045, or graduates from another Ontario College Business - Accounting program who have achieved a minimum overall average of 'C+' (2.5 cumulative GPA) and a 'B' in courses that are equivalent to the courses listed above.
Other Information
- IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Students wishing to enter the Business Administration - Accounting program, Program Code BAA2, must first successfully complete the Business - Accounting program, Program Code BAC2.
- Students that have successfully completed the Business - Accounting program, and wish to continue with the Business Administration - Accounting program, must complete an "Application for Program Transfer" form available in the Office of the Registrar, Room E1012.
- The Business Administration - Accounting Ontario College Advanced Diploma offers a potential of 14 CGA credits.
- **The Business Administration - Accounting program and the second year of the Business - Accounting program are laptop programs.
