(For more information, refer to www.payroll.ca.) In addition, students will have the opportunity to achieve six of the nine Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) credits. (Refer to the HRPA website for more information: www.hrpa.ca.) HR students will participate in a mentorship with HR mentors to observe HR professionals at work and experience first-hand the HR workplace environment. Students will create an HR-specific career portfolio to make their job search easier. Graduates are in demand for jobs in recruiting, payroll administration, compensation and benefits, and training and development. Graduates may also apply to transfer to the third year of Fanshawe College's Business Administration - Human Resources Ontario College Advanced Diploma program where they will have the opportunity to achieve the balance of the CHRP credits (three additional credits).
