Construction Engineering Technology (Management)

Be a manager in the construction industry! Or start your own construction company!

Fanshawe's Construction Engineering Technology (Management) program gives you the skills you need to manage major construction projects! You'll develop the technical knowledge and skills required to construct residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings - from planning through to completion! You'll learn to estimate material requirements and costs, schedule and manage construction projects, do field surveying for building layout and create structural designs of simple buildings! Plus, you'll get incredible hands on experience with twelve full months of paid co-op work!

When you graduate, you'll find career opportunities as a building developer, general contractor, subcontractor, material supplier, field coordinator, expeditor, quantity surveyor, estimator, inspector, project manager, scheduler or contract manager. You may even choose to start your own construction company - right after graduation, or anytime later in your career!

Construction Engineering Technology (Management) is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program..
