The program provides the technical knowledge and skills required to manage the construction of industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings from the planning stage through to completion. Studies include construction methods, construction equipment, surveying, project management, scheduling, estimating, building economics, and construction contracts. Applicant Selection Criteria
Where the number of eligible applicants exceeds the available spaces in the program, the Applicant Selection Criteria will be:- Preference for Permanent Residents of Ontario.
- Receipt of Application by February 1st.
- Achievement in the Admission Requirements.
- **Students admitted to the Fanshawe College Pre-Technology and Academic and Career Entrance Technology stream programs are guaranteed admission the following year to a Technology career program provided that they successfully complete their Pre-Technology Ontario College Certificate or Academic and Career Entrance Certificate and fulfill any other specified conditions. Normally these students are admitted to their first choice program.
Co-operative Education
This three year program has three co-operative work terms. Students who fulfill both the academic and co-op requirements of the program will be eligible to graduate with a co-op endorsed diploma. More information about co-operative education can be found at www.fanshawec.ca./coopAdvanced Standing
- Credit for any course in the program will be given to students who can demonstrate that they have the required skills to meet the objectives of the course.
