The Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington has signed a memorandum of understanding with Fanshawe College and as a result, student experience is greatly enhanced through this partnership which includes both summer internships and programmed events at the gardens in Burlington.

Landscape Design is a three-year co-operative program of study providing training in the design of many types of landscape areas, with emphasis on commercial, institutional and residential sites. A variety of skills in areas such as drafting, rendering, and composition are combined with the knowledge of design theory, soft and hard materials, landscape construction and new technologies to provide students with the skills necessary to source employment in the exciting field of landscape design.The Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington has signed a memorandum of understanding with Fanshawe College and as a result, student experience is greatly enhanced through this partnership which includes both summer internships and programmed events at the gardens in Burlington.

Where the number of eligible applicants exceeds the available spaces in the program, the Applicant Selection Criteria will be:- Preference for Permanent Residents of Ontario.
- Receipt of Application by February 1st.
- Achievement in the Admission Requirements.
Co-operative Education
This is a three-year program with co-op work terms. Students who fulfill both the academic and co-op requirements of the program will be eligible to graduate with a co-op endorsed diploma. More information about co-operative education can be found at www.fanshawec.ca/coopOther Information
- Graduates of this program may be eligible for advanced standing credit to the Bachelor of Applied Arts (Integrated Land Planning Technologies) applied degree program at Fanshawe College.
