Program Description

The Developmental Services Worker Apprentice Certificate program prepares its graduates to support children and adults with developmental disabilities.  Courses focus on disabilities, mental health, interpersonal skills, counselling, health, pharmacology, teaching and intervention strategies.  The Developmental Services Worker Apprentice program provides an opportunity for people already working in the Developmental Servies field to complete a Developmental Services Worker Ontario College Certificate. A bridging program to the Developmental Services Worker diploma program is an option upon completion of the Apprenticeship Certificate.
