Meet the staff of Fanshawe's International Centre:
	Wendy Curtis, Manager Contact Info: wcurtis@fanshawec.ca 519-452-4430 ext. 4187	Wendy leads the International Services Office at Fanshawe College and directs International recruitment and internationalization efforts at the college. Wendy works to ensure that International and Canadian students receive excellent service in International Education. Wendy has been serving students at Fanshawe College since 1985.
	Bruce Wilson, Assistant Manager Contact Info: bwilson@fanshawec.ca 519-452-4430 ext. 4467	Bruce provides leadership in the recruitment of International students and works closely with Fanshawe's regional specialists and agents around the world to market our programs and services. Bruce is also responsible for identifying new markets for our programs and develops new partnerships for delivering our programs overseas. Bruce has been with Fanshawe College since 1995.
	Maria Carvajal Sarria, Receptionist Contact Info: mcarvajalsarria@fanshawec.ca 519-452-4150	Maria is responsible for receiving international students and directing inquiries to personnel in the International Office. Maria also provides information on programs and college services to International students, as well as registers and maintains our international student and agent records. Maria has been working at Fanshawe College since 2007.
	Vinay Chaudhry, B.Tech, M.B.A., L.L.B.(P)	Vinay Chaudhry is the President of Maple Leaf EduConnect. Vinay is an engineer from India and completed his Master's in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, where Fanshawe has a variety of tie-ups. Vinay has deep family connections in Canada. His grandmother was a Canadian citizen and he has many family and friends all over Canada. Before launching Maple Leaf EduConnect, Vinay worked as a Senior Assistant Director and Head of Biotechnology division of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) where he worked closely with the Indian government & private corporations on policy issues and facilitating commerce by bringing together Indian and foreign companies. At FICCI, he organized a business delegation of Indian entrepreneurs to Canada and also hosted several Canadian and other international delegations. Vinay managed the office of the Minister for Technical Education, Industrial Training, Labor and Employment departments in Haryana.
	Dean Coutu, International Admissions Contact Info: dcoutu@fanshawec.ca 519-452-4430 ext. 4315	Dean is responsible for admitting International applicants to Fanshawe College and assists international students with various issues while they study at Fanshawe, such as visa extensions and health insurance, etc. Dean has been at Fanshawe since 1980, and has been working in International Admissions since 1990.
	Susan Czypyha, Homestay/Residence Coordinator Contact Info: sczypyha@fanshawec.ca 519-452-4430 ext. 4767	Susan is the International Homestay/Residence Coordinator at Fanshawe College and is responsible for matching International students with Homestay families and helping international students find suitable accommodation in residence. Susan has been working at Fanshawe College since 1990, and has been serving International students since 2000.
	John Gawel, International Admissions Contact Info: jgawel@fanshawec.ca 519-452-4430 ext. 4851	John is responsible for International admissions at Fanshawe College through assessing transcripts, fees, letters of admission and health insurance. John also advises international students on immigration issues such as study permits and liaises with foreign embassies and Immigration Canada to facilitate entry and stay in Canada. John has been serving International students since 2000.
	Saurabh Malhotra, BBA, MBA Fanshawe South Asia Representative Contact Info: southasia@fanshawec.in Local Number: Cell: +91.91366.91344 By Appointment: Maple Leaf EduConnect Centre, Unit #121, First Floor, Square-1, C-2, District Centre, Saket, New Delhi, India-110017	Namaste India! Saurabh is responsible for servicing India with school, student and agency workshops along with exchange and project procurement. Saurabh joined Fanshawe's International Team in February 2010 having spent the early part of his career entrenched in academia gaining extensive experience in student outreach programs and managing student counselling services in New Delhi. He holds joint appointments as part of Fanshawe's membership with Maple Leaf EduConnect. Saurabh completed his MBA from Mumbai University and BBA from India's most prestigious undergraduate Business program (BBA) of Delhi University.
	Nelson Melgar, Latin American Specialist Contact Info: nmelgar@fanshawec.ca 519-452-4430 ext. 4072	Nelson is responsible for recruiting and marketing Fanshawe College in Latin America and the Caribbean. Nelson communicates with agents, assesses international applicants and helps with the registration process. Nelson also helps support and resolve some of the issues that students may have once they arrive in Canada. Nelson has been working with the International Office since 2006.
	Kim Rowe, International Student Advisor Contact Info: krowe@fanshawec.ca 519-452-4430 ext. 4030	Kim assists International Students with any needs or concerns that arise in order to help enhance their college experience. Kim's role includes offering referrals and links to other college services as needed and to provide assistance with work permits, volunteering and community connections. Kim has been working at Fanshawe since 1997 and has been serving International students since 2005.
	Mary Lou Vanderhoeven, International Admissions Contact Info: int@fanshawec.ca 519-452-4430 ext. 4278	Mary Lou is the first contact at Fanshawe College and responds to inquiries from International applicants and agents from around the world. Mary Lou also receives and processes international applications and assists current International students at the main desk. Mary Lou has been working at Fanshawe College since 1990.
	Xiaobin (John) Yang, Asian Specialist Contact Info: jxyang@fanshawec.ca 519-452-4430 ext. 4372	John recruits International students from Asian countries - China, Vietnam & South East Asia. John promotes Fanshawe College to agents, students as well as parents. Meanwhile, John evaluates the applicants from Asian countries, responds to international students' information inquiries and assists them with their transition to life in Canada and Fanshawe College. John has been working with the International Office since late 2008.
	(Jake) Ju Kyoung Yoon, International Recruitment Advisor Contact Info: jkyoon@fanshawec.ca 82-10-9481-8079	(Jake) Ju Kyoung Yoon is Fanshawe College's Recruitment Officer in Korea. He has assisted Fanshawe College to identify new marketing strategies and social networking platforms. Jake is based in Seoul, he works with agents, students and develops educational partnerships.
