Optional Meal Plan for Non-Residence Students

Like the luxury of living on your own but find you're eating most of your meals on campus? The non-residence Flex plan was designed for students just like you!

Simple and convenient...

  • Money deposited on the flex portion of the student card will allow students to purchase meals and variety store items anywhere on campus AND pay for photocopying, printing and library fees.
  • We recommend a minimum deposit of $400 for those students who plan to use the full range of options available with the card.
  • If you only plan to use the card for printing, photocopying and library service $50-$100 is recommended.
  • Incremental purchases for any amount can be added.
  • Unused balances may be carried from year to year provided you are a student at Fanshawe.

Purchase...

  • The food purchase plan can be purchased through Fanshawe's Campus Bookstore. You can purchase a plan at any time. As a convenience, during summer registration, it can be purchased when you pay for your tuition in the registration package.

Security and use...

  • An account is set up for you on a secure database for the initial purchase value.
  • To access your account, your student card must be activated after you receive it, either in the Campus Bookstore, F1002, or during fall orientation activities in J-Gymnasium.
  • The Bookstore administers the meal plans. For purchases, refunds, questions, or comments, contact the Bookstore, F1002, 519-452-4260, bookstore@fanshawec.ca, fax 519-452-4229.

Refunds...

  • The Optional Meal Plan is refundable.
  • A $50 admin fee applies.
  • Refunds are not automatic if you withdraw. You must request a refund at the Campus Bookstore, F1002.
  • Refunds take approximately 4 week and are issued by cheque.
