Applying to Residence

Want to live in residence? Applying just got easier! 

Rather than the old lottery system, Residence is now assigned based on a first come, first served basis. Just follow the steps below to apply: 

Step 1: Confirm your offer of admission to Fanshawe at ontariocolleges.ca. 

Step 2: Check your email. Within a day or two, you will receive a message from the Office of the Registrar with a
link to the residence application. 

Step 3: Wait for two business days before applying. This will give us time to ensure your account information
is carried over. 

Step 4: Complete the online residence application at fanshawe.erezlife.com/application.*

Step 5: Check your email. You will receive a message from the Residence with information and options on paying
your non-refundable $500 deposit. Your deposit will be used towards the $250 security deposit and the
remainder towards the Residence fees. 

Step 6: Pay your non-refundable deposit within five business days.   

Step 7: Once your payment is received, you will receive confirmation of residence placement. 

A few weeks after you receive your confirmation of residence placement, the Residence will contact you with more details like roommates assignments, what to pack, move in dates, and more. 

*Please note: only completed applications will be processed. If you don't pay your non-refundable deposit within the five business days, your application will not be processed.
