Chapter 45

I remember the first day sitting in orientation, terrified, nervous, completely unsure of what tomorrow was going to bring. I looked around the classroom and quickly realized that I was by far the oldest person in my program.

I was starting life over again. Recently divorced and unemployed, the very large retail company I had worked for had closed, and I figured that now it's my time to live my dreams.

Coming to Fanshawe has been an incredible experience and I simply don't see that changing. The teachers are amazing, willing to help however they can, and my fellow students have accepted me like I was one of them.

Life is a journey, and whatever your story may be, I hope that at some point Fanshawe becomes one of your many chapters. You won't regret it, I know I haven't. It's never too late.
